About the event
Instead of holding large "Arts Are The Heart" gatherings at the school as usual, with many Creation Stations where children and families can experience different art media and enjoy different local performers, we have set up some of our stations throughout the city of Fenton. Families can visit the stations alone to learn about a type of “art challenge” such as doing a silly walk, or singing a song on the gazebo stage, or even doing the challenge at home. We ask participants to post a short video of their response to each challenge on their facebook page and tag it with #PopUpPostsFenton to share with the community. At some of the stations materials are provided for the children to take home such as sidewalk chalk or rocks to paint.
