"The Fabric of our Lives" Community Art Project
in celebration of America's 250th
CALL FOR QUILT SQUARES & FABRIC PIECES - This is a 2-part project + exhibits.
DEADLINE FRIDAY MAY, 1 2026
In celebration of America’s 250th Anniversary, the Fenton Arts Council and the Fenton Lions Club invite our community to participate in a special collaborative quilt project.

PART ONE QUILT SQUARES
We are asking community members to contribute a Quilt Square, that will be combined with others to create a beautiful, community-art project quilt.
Quilt Square Details:
• 10 inches square with a 1-inch border
• Use lightweight cotton or cotton blends
• Please avoid heavy upholstery fabrics
or denim
• Squares may be sewn, embroidered, or embellished with appliqué, paint, trims, beads, or buttons.

PART TWO
FABRIC SQUARES
Fabric Square Details:
• 10 inches square
• Use lightweight cotton or cotton blends
• Please avoid heavy upholstery fabrics
or denim
• On the correct form (below) describe the
significance of the Fabric Square in your life.
How to Submit Your Quilt
or Fabric Square:
Print, complete and Include the correct form from below in an envelope, with your quilt or fabric square. Either mail to:
