The Fenton Arts Council loves to support student artists!  In 2023 we began sponsoring chapters of the National Art Honor Society at each of our 3 local high schools:  Fenton, Linden and Lake Fenton.  When Linden's chapter was changed to an Art Club, we continued art support with that group.

There are many excellent Art Students in the area who we are proud to encourage and recognize.

Also, their dedicated Art Teachers deserve appreciation and recognition too!

The art group teacher advisors can spend our donation in any way that best serves their art students including, group membership, supplies, graduation honor cords, etc..

If a group would like to do a special art project for which they need funding, they are welcome to apply to us for some of the needed funding.  We could support their project after studying their proposal.

We would like to continue receiving input from the students in a more organized way this year, with an official Youth Advisory Team consisting of art students.

This winter we plan to host a student art exhibit of the 3 schools combined.  We will coach the students on how to photograph and prepare their work for a professional exhibit and actually go through the entire application process.

We believe in young people and help them in experiencing an artful life!
