
Photo Contest & Exhibit

As America celebrates 250 years of history, the Fenton Arts Council invites photographers to capture the hardworking people whose dedication keeps our nation moving forward every day. You must be a Fenton Arts Council member to apply for this exhibit. If your membership is not up to date, you can make payment HERE.
We are seeking compelling photographs that highlight Americans at work - the individuals who build, teach, heal, protect, grow, repair, transport and serve.
Show the pride, skill, dedication and humanity behind the jobs that keep America working!
Some examples of what we are looking for: Farmers & Ranchers, Mechanics, Healthcare Workers, Educators, Food Service Workers, Custodial Staff, Manufacturing Workers, Trades People (Electricians, Plumbers, Carpenters), Groundskeepers, First Responders, Transportation Workers, Journalists, Repair Workers and others who keep America working!
Photos must include the person/people working and the job they are doing. You can submit up to 3 photos. NO Ai images!! All submissions must be the photography of the person submitting them.
Deadline to submit this application is Midnight Saturday, September 19, 2026. Artists will be notified by email of accepted photos by September 24, 2026.
FAC will print and mat the top photo files submitted, at no cost to the photographers. The exhibit will run October 1 - November 3, at the Beale Street Smokehouse BBQ, Banquet Room.
There will be an exhibit reception at Beale Street Smokehouse BBQ, October 20, 2026 at 6:30pm.
RULES AND REGULATIONS
1. Photos must include the person/people and the job they are doing.
2. You can submit up to 3 digital photos.
3. NO Ai images!!
4. All submissions must be the work of the person submitting them.
5. FAC is not liable for damage or theft of artwork.
All work MUST be picked up by the Fenton Arts Council, from the gallery, at the date and time noted by the Fenton Arts Council, unless prior arrangements are made. Any work remaining after the determined date becomes the property of the Fenton Arts Council.
